This Eco Washcloth works up super fast and makes a great gift or addition to your kitchen. I love the texture, I used jute to make it extra scrubby!
Materials - ball of twine (I used James Lever's brown jute tying twine)
size 5mm hook
Pattern is in UK terms.
Row 1. Chain 21. dc in 3rd chain from hook. *1 tr into next ch, 1 dc in next ch, rep from * to end.
Row 2. Ch 1 (count as turning chain). *1 tr into 1st dc, I dc in next tr, rep from * 8 times. 1 tr in last dc.(19)
Row 3. Ch 1 (count as turning chain). * 1 dc into 1st tr, 1 tr in next dc, rep from * 8 times. 1 dc in last tr. (19)
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until the washcloth is square. Fasten off leaving enough twine to tie a hanging loop.
Check out how I used the washcloth as part of a 'New Home' or 'Starting University' gift here.
