This set makes a really nice gift for anyone moving into their first home or for a student starting university. It's so cheap to put together but looks beautiful and is a truly thoughtful (and useful!) gift.
Starting with the crochet!
The washcloth is made from garden string and you can find the pattern on my previous blog post here. I made the label from a toilet roll tube which I cut in half, you could write a message or just put the word 'dishcloth' or 'washcloth' like I did.
Shopping
The bamboo cooking utensils are from home bargains and cost just £1.29! (I love Home Bargains!!)
I added this wooden dish brush costing £2.99 from Amazon to complete the gift.
I sent some money in a card for my gift recipient, but a gift card would also be a great addition. Perhaps for a DIY shop or Ikea? Or if it's for a student an Amazon voucher?
Wrapping
I tied them together using butcher's twine and wrapped them in brown paper to stick with the eco vibe.
